COSEBOC - The Coalition of Schools Educating Boys of Color

REFLECTIONS

Dear Ron and COSEBOC Members,

Thank you very much for including me among your inaugural awardees. I am honored and humbled to included among these outstanding leaders and representative of all those people who work hard and smart each day to ensure that our boys of color receive a high quality education.

Many people express their concern about our boys of color, but never act on their voiced concerns and hope. The bible tells us, however, that faith without action is nothing. Thank you, Ron, for acting on your dreams and knowledge that when our boys of color are in the hands of caring and committed adults, they blossom into strong and smart young men.

I will always be here to support you and COSEBOC.

Always,
Rosa A. Smith

Standards and Promising Practices for Schools Educating Boys of ColorRon, Thanks for putting together the conference in DC this past weekend.  You guys definitely hit a home run.  I left the conference feeling like I'd just watched a Super Bowl game that actually lived up to all the hype.  Onward and Upward!!!

Warmest Regards,

COSEBOC time has come! This is just the organization that the country needs at this time to move from ideas to action. The support system that you have set up is an imperative if we are going to collectively impact change. I am proud to be a part of this movement forward.

Outstanding Conference! Really, I think it is the best I attend all year.  Focused, powerful, inspirational, real, useful, and fun. I am so proud and humble to be a part of it.

But, now looking forward ...

I thoroughly enjoyed my experiences at the COSEBOC 2010 conference. The conference allows like minded individuals to share experiences, collaborate, and strategize to support efforts to positively affect boys of color in the United States of America.
