Policy Matters to Great Schools!
Essential Question: Why is reflective practice and knowledge of policy important for leaders educating boys and young men of color, and building great school?
The Policy Forum

The inaugural COSEBOC Policy Forum will present Gathering participants with an authentic opportunity to grow in their understanding of policy issues that impact how we serve the best interest, affirmative development and education of boys and young men of color. A panel of policy experts who understand the critical connection to practice will share their expertise. Specific discussion areas include policies impacting early childhood, special education, and high achieving male students of color. This interactive forum will be especially valuable for educators, community leaders, policymakers and advocates determined to build, lead and sustain Great Schools.

- Participants will begin to understand their leadership identity and the work required to bring success and affirmative development to boys and young men of color.
