Dr. Tiffany Hardrick

Prior to becoming a New Leaders for New Schools principal, Dr. Tiffany Hardrick served as Director of Distance Education and as a business and mathematics instructor at East Arkansas Community College and a high school mathematics teacher in Memphis City Schools.  At the end of the one year NLNS residency, Tiffany was named principal at Lanier Middle School in the Whitehaven community in Memphis and under her leadership the school experienced significant gains with 89 percent of students proficient or advanced in mathematics and 86 percent proficient or advanced in Language Arts. 

Upon leaving Memphis in 2007, Tiffany became a part of the New Schools for New Orleans (NSNO) community of incubators and co-founded Miller-McCoy Academy for Mathematics and Business. Miller-McCoy is an all boy’s college preparatory charter school which emphasizes a mathematics and business/entrepreneurship curriculum.  The mission is to prepare urban males students for college and life beyond college.  Tiffany’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, a Masters of Business Administration, a Specialist in Education, and a Doctorate of Philosophy in Educational Leadership.
